S2 McCarty Purchase Advice Needed!

Good morning! I need some advice. I've been looking at buying an S2 guitar. I really like the S2 McCarty models. But, not wild about about them having SE pickups. I found this posting on Reverb. Love the color. And, the price is doable. According to the listed upgrades (57/08 pickups, Kluson tuners, hard case) , it seems like there's been an additional $700 -ish put into this guitar. It's listed by a reputable 5 star dealer on Reverb. So, I guess everything is legit. Anyone have any experience with the 57/08's or the tuners? Just a little hesitant to buy something that's already been modded. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

I had those Kluson tuners on a Knaggs Kenai. I liked them. Functioned well. As for the 57/08 pickups, among the best PRS has made. They'll be PAF-ish.

There's not a scenario I'd take the 58/15s over 57/08. Some of my favorite pickups, not just PRS pickups.
