I want to get another guitar possibly by next year and as much as I look at Gibson's, fenders and other brands, I always come back to Paul Reed Smith. I have two single cut models with hardtails and now I feel like I want a singlecut wirh trem.

I have thought that the PRS double cut design has been the best looking guitar on the market since I first saw it. I love the contours and figured maple tops. I own more than my fair share of PRS guitars. I have mostly double cut models but I also have a few single cut models and love them all. I have far more PRS guitars than any other brand of guitar.

The addiction is real! I purchased my first in Jan '21 and by July of '21 I had 3!! Then work dried up on me (I work as a consultant) and have not been able to purchase one since, but the moment I get the disposable income, that will be it's first assignment!!!

Are the Singlecut Trems thinner than the hardtail models?

The SC trems from the mid 2000’s(?) are a little thinner from what I remember. Maybe McCarty thickness or so. Definitely a bit thinner than the normal SC. I think the tremonti is the only option for standard thickness SC with a trem.

I think my thinnest neck is my 1994 CE-22.
I'm. Ok with an SC with a thinner neck.
Tremonti uses the pattern thin too, but used to be the fatter I believe. I think the early Tremonti models had a wide fat.

I thought Tremonti was pattern thin.
I'm ok with one guitar with a thinner neck.

PRS fixation is definitely a ’thang’. One by one I’ve let other guitars go. Ibanez, Fender, Les Paul, etc. I’m down to 5 electrics and all are PRS. I haven‘t let one go yet..
