After owning and playing out for years with vintage guitars like my old 57 and 59 Les Pauls, and a number of 50s and 60s Strat’s and Teles, (back when they weren’t very expensive), I can honestly say that the four core PRS guitars that I own are my absolute favorite electric guitars that I’ve ever owned. The playability and the designs just feel right and sound right to me.

The closest PRS has to the specs I would like to see is the Dusty Waring model. If it had the wide thin neck, non active pickups and a smaller/lighter body, it would be close enough to perfect for me.
