So how many guitars are too many? When do you have enough?

Put me in this camp. For the last year or so I've had 2 guitars, which is exactly how many I need for gigs. I may occasionally replace one, or get a 3rd one to try out, but I quickly go back to 2 guitars, as that's what I'm more comfortable with. Any more than that and I have too many decisions to make. There is definitely something to be said for playing only one or two guitars and getting to really know them well.

Me too. I think about 6 should be the limit for me. I'd have just 1 acoustic, 2 PRS for different tunings, 2 Strats and 1 Tele. The last thing I want is to start worrying about where to put them. Plus I don't want the girlfriend/missus to start her lecture on the saving virtues. On top of that, I'm not Nick Drake and I don't always play in 20 alternate tunings, so there's really no point getting one for every new tuning I discover. :violin:
