This was my PRS SE Santana Special P90, which was available in Europe in 2015 for about one year:
It was my first guitar with soapbars, and I was never real happy with it. P90s did not become my favorite pickups. So I added it to my Items to sell list.
On the other hand, I grabbed a set of Narrowfield pickups last year, ripped out of a PRS Studio model. I added this set to my Items to integrate list. I had no idea, since I own a 2010 PRS McCarty Narrowfield, there should be different approach for the use of these pickups.
Accidentially, I discovered on a draft of those Gibson mini humbuckers that these pickups have similar dimensions as the PRS Narrowfields, so I ordered a set of mini humbucker rings, which fit into a P90 cavity .
Here is the result of the marriage:
A closer look:
One item less on both lists!
