Been on this forum reading for years, never signed up but today is the day I guess. I've had a couple of PRS guitars (and a few other guitars) - believe it or not I am a one trick pony, I only have one guitar at a time because I am always moving around and don't like having too much stuff, plus it's just a hobby - I can't justify holding more than one, but if you only get one, you may as well make it special.

Epiphone LP Custom with some Gibson 57 PAF's

So anyway, out with the old and in with the new. I've just picked up a brand new Custom 24 Artist Package in Faded Blue Jean. 85/15's, pattern neck as I like my necks thicc
, gaboon ebony board and paua birds, plus the paisley case. It's a 2018 model thats been sitting on the shelf for a bit.
The best part - The price you ask? Given the sharp drop in the AUD at the moment against the USD, it appears local dealers in Australia haven't caught up with price increases on PRS models to compensate. I landed this to my door for just over $3,000 USD

BACK TO THE OTHER HALF OF THE STORY - I've heard on the grapevine from the dealer that I purchased the CU24 off that Artist Packages are no longer being offered on core models possibly because they simply cannot keep up with demand or it's hurting their PS production capacity... I tried a search on the forum to confirm this but has anyone else heard otherwise? No more artist package options would be a shame for those who want something a little more special.
