Welcome sir 🙂

Greetings fellow PRS fans. Been playing since 1979. When I lived in Maryland, I saw a PRS on display at the Smithsonian Museum of American History years back, and started dreaming about playing one. (I felt an urge to get in the display case and change the strings too--they were rusting.)

Finally made it to the Land of PRS in 2022, and love the tone, the playability, the workmanship. The esthetics!

Welcome anthonywanis! Love the origin story.
Glad to see you started off with an avatar.;):)
Thank DISTORT6! I now have less hair and more guitars, compared to when the Avatar photo was taken.

Who knew hair loss and guitar acquisition were correlated...

Hi, my name is Michael and I'm a guitar player in the band Chinese Downhill in Breckenridge, Colorado. I bought a DGT 15 after the Fender amp I bought caught on fire after 20 seconds of use. Glad to be part of the PRS family now.

Welcome Michael! Great band name from a great movie.

Hello fellow guitar lovers.

I've been playing guitar for 46 years and teaching for 37 years. www.craigbeckguitar.com

I have owned many guitars, two of which are a PRS Custom 24 (killer for rock)
and a PRS SC-J (Limited addition run of 300 from 2009 The 17 inch body makes it great not only for Jazz, but also for blues and rock )

For me, the perfect day is walking my dog, sharing French wine with my wife, teaching guitar and of course…playing guitar.

Hey, I'm new here (so be nice please lol)
I've been playing guitars for over 40 years, did the usual stuff starting with a cheap strat copy (I was at school at the time but bought it with my paper round money - £99)
Once I had a job I've gone through Fenders, Gibson, Epiphones and a few years ago I bough a PRS SE Custom 24 Floyd - really like it.
Fast forward to today and I also have a Schecter Reaper Flyd Rose Sustainiac and that is my usual performance guitar until last Friday (20th June) I won a PRS USA Artist II in Dark Cherry Sunburst from a well know Guitar Giveaway site - cost me £2.99 for a ticket (how lucky am I)

It is 30 years old (1994) and had a couple of mods which include the 5 way selector changed to a 3 way and one of the pick ups was replaced with a Bareknuckle one as the original had shorted??? Apparently PRS recommended this particular replacement. Part of the original special orders was a tremolo and a semi hollow body.

I'm not sure how much it's worth but sure looks pretty in the pics (correct I don't have it yet but soon hopefully)

Anyway, nice to be here and I hope we can all be friends :)
