I did not vote for the Bernie cos it’s no more in production, though the thread title does mention “ever”. I have the highest regard for my SE 594’s due to their great inherent tone. I love those guitars dearly. However when I compare them back to back with my Bernie, the Bernie edges it slightly. Just that bit more deep woody sounding.

The Bernie is the undisputed King of my SE roost. Some of the private stocks are shifting bums nervously. I have to console them.
