String Gauge - What do you use?

OK, Les. You`ve gone too far. i`m switching to 9`s, but not until I have some kosher ham for breakfast..

11-52 in standard tuning.
Harder to bend but I love the percussive response and higher volume they give.

My answer from two years ago still holds, but I do find a growing appeal to 11s - though I suspect the day is coming when my fingers will want me to go back to lighter strings.

I started out in the 1950's with 14-72 and high action.
In the 1960's I went to 11-52 +or-. In the 1970's through 1990 something I was 10-46. In the late 1990's I went .0095-.044, and after losing the radial nerves in my left arm, am now .007-.032 D'Addario NYXL, and really low action.
