It's been a few months since my last NGD, so here's some new guitar porn we can all enjoy:

It just happened that I had made a few black dye book-matched truss rod covers last week; they happened to match perfectly the charcoal finish so I kept one to dress up the guitar a bit:

I thought the back was solid black paint, but it's in fact translucent which is a nice touch:

Some rather bizarre masking/cut line... bizarre since it's not at the boundary between the black paint and clear coat.

Could be interesting to change the pickup rings and tuner buttons for ebony/black ones, though in this instance they bring some nice contrast to an otherwise already dark finish.

Awesome! Love the flamed top and neck on that one. Nice addition of the custom TRC!

For all the flashy finishes PRS does, charcoal is a real sleeper that always looks amazing to me. You can’t beat a matching charcoal neck too!

P Squared, the Perfect Paul.

What a wonderful piece! I'm surprised it doesn't have the brushstroke birds. I have one too that doesn't, and think it makes the guitar just a bit more special.

That is really stunning! Congrats.

Odd about the line on the heel. Can you feel it? Is it raised or cut?

That’s like, one of the best looking guitars I’ve seen in a while. Staining over the binding looks fantastic here.

I would say, the Paul’s with its dark coloured pickups looks best with dark stained tops!

Congrats, that's a fantastic addition, and the old MOP birds with the Ivoroid tuner buttons
are the perfect complement. Enjoy in good health.
