I ended up with a SC 594 and I like it. I have a 98 McCarty that's a double cut so I didn't want another Double cut.
The SC is a little heavier but I don't mind it.
I had a Les Paul Studio years ago that was a pain to keep in tune. I hope they have fixed that on the LP's.
I too have a "one of a kind" signed my Mr. Paul. It's a Gibson USA denim jacket signed by Les when I met him at the Smithsonian after he got an award for a Lifetime of Technical achievement. He was extremely kind and after he autographed the Jacket he told me it was a one of a kind.
He had never autographed a jacket until then.
