I just figured out why I love the Santana so much...

Yeah, it feels more WF than Pattern, to me. I think it was always the Santana Carve, but I good be wrong about that. I know that is the description on the current model (Retro). I will also say that all of the Santana's I have owned have had necks that were not identical. Some felt beefier than others. For example, the 2015 WL with maple neck felt very close to the RI '58 LP I had at the time. REALLY big. Others have not felt anywhere close to that. All I can say is that Santana neck and the Pattern Vintage are my two favorites. It varies daily which one is on top.

I can honestly say I am still getting used to the controls being there. But, I do love the master volume... Independent volumes always mess me up.

I do love the wide fat neck. Not really a huge fan of these pickups. They're okay... Nothing special, really. I have some HB sized P-90's to replace them. Just haven't had time to do it yet.
