Trying to figure out what exact model of a special guitar I have

I was gifted a guitar. A very special one for that matter.
It was the guitar of a young cousin of mine who passed away at the age of 18 years old.
He was one of the most beautiful human beings I have ever met and to be gifted his guitar (which he won at a ghost pepper eating competition) is one of the few worldly possessions that I hold very dear to my heart.
I'm insanely curious to know everything about the guitar, yet when I reached out to PRS, they didn't have all the information I was looking for. They gave me some of the specs but apparently it was a limited edition that was released overseas. I'll post below what one of the representatives at PRS told me, however any additional information would be more than welcomed. Honestly I have yet to find one EXACTLY like it. There are similar looking ones, but the headstock color isn't the same. If anyone has ANY information on the origins of this guitar. Please let me know.

All the very best,
Erik

"I do not have a specific model name for this guitar. It’s a Custom 24 with a quilt maple veneer top, which was likely built for an overseas market, which is why you’re having a hard time finding information on it. Unfortunately, my records do not indicate what the intended market for this guitar was. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!"

"It looks like an Aqua, or Blue Matteo. Unfortunately, my records for these SE Guitars aren’t fully detailed, so I cannot confirm. I hope this is helpful!"

"This looks like a limited run of SE Custom 24’s from 2018. It featured a maple top with a quilted veneer, mahogany back, maple neck with bound East Indian Rosewood fretboard, quilted headstock veneer, with 85/15 “S” pickups and a tremolo."

They've pretty much given you all the specs and info. Its a Custom 24 SE made for I want to say Japan.

It looks like it's part of a limited run for the European market in 2013. They were limited to 200 guitars across 6 colours. If you do a Google search se 24 custom quilt - you will find a.review on the music radar website.
Thank's for the reply. I'll give it a google search, but 2013? I'm not so sure about that.
It says the date of inspection was 2018. With that said I appreciate the info.

Any dealer can do a limited run of (I believe) as little as 10 SE's to get an unusual color or combination of features. I would guess it was made for an overseas music store, and Japan would be my first guess. I've not seen a Korean made CU24 with a bound fretboard, although some of our UK friends may have knowledge of this. It is indeed, a beautiful guitar. Does the hang tag say where it was inspected? That would be a good clue about what market it was intended for. Also, where are you geographically? There is a music store in Colorado that has done a significant number of custom runs.

On the back of the headstock it says Korea:cool:
Made FOR Japan not Made IN Japan. They do different runs for Europe and Japan. This could have been either of those or a dealer doing a run of 10 or something..pulling from memory Japan had guitars just like this. I looked at them at one point.

Can't say for certain, but this looks like the special run SE CU 24 Sapphire that Moore Music had made.

Here is a Korean made Cu 24 with bound fretboard, and I bought it from a shop in Colorado, forgot the name.

Checked my records, and it was a shop called Spotlight Music Inc

SO MUCH useful and intriguing information!
I’ll reach out to Moore guitars and report back to this thread. I appreciate you all for being so incredibly helpful, it means more than you know.
