Humm, but they have a CU22 too... I like Pattern, but that one is a gloss neck and I ideally want satin (I'm just trying to find as many excuses as possible not to pull the trigger):

I thought about it many times but my retention rate is low with PRS so far. Satinizing a neck, especially on a Core, will devalue the guitar or at least make it quite a bit harder to sell (and no it's not 100% reversible though it would be close with some 3M mesh sanding paper and heavy re-polishing).

Damn, just saw that and it even has the neck stained... Good thing it's a 594 as I'm not the biggest fan of Pattern Vintage, although....

I'm running out of excuses for that one they just got....
It's satin, it's freaking light at 7.0lbs, I don't have a CU22 yet, and they put black outlines on the birds which is great against a curly maple fingerboard....

Maybe the only excuse is that with the recent purchase of the MEV experience I may need to slow down my gear acquisition...

Edited: actually another excuse is there's too much run out in the bottom part of the top.
