DGT or Custom 24

After 30+ years of production, 'modern' becomes a somewhat relative term...
I forgot the operative term: voiced. Again, it's all relative. I've certainly played 50s and 60s music on a Custom 24 without anyone standing up in the audience and complaining. All on a Mesa/Boogie amp, too!

Both are nice, but for my personal tastes I don't always get along with the neck pup in a 24 fret guitar. Sure pickups can be changed and everything, but I've always preferred the tone I get from a 22 fret. So in this case DGT for me, it's a wonderful instrument. Both are awesome anyways, so it's a win win.

always remember that the ' perfect ' gittar for group"X" will not necessarily be the perfect guitar for you...
As difficult as it may be sometimes, the only way to find what makes YOU happy is to try as many different guitars as you can...

I vote Cu24. Pattern regular neck is a no-brainer but also consider the wide thin neck. I really enjoy them on that model.
