She has always been a constant in my life. I remember being taken out of grade school one day to see her in person. That was an extremely exciting to me.

What an amazing woman she was! Truly one of a kind.

She was full of spunk and tenacity. She did things that other women couldn’t work wouldn’t do. I always admired her.
