Tell me about the Recording Amp from 2010

Can anybody tell me about the limited run (25 of them made?) "Recording Amp" released in 2010? Seems like it's along the same vein as the HX/DA but I can't tell for sure. Lots of switches on this guy--likely meaning that it's very versatile(?). Flame-front panels, custom-made knobs... makes me think these were regarded as pretty special. Any thoughts/comments?

They do seem real close--the Recording Amp seems to have been out of "CAD" (custom amp design) and seems to have begotten the HX/DA, albeit with 1/2 the switches in each of the 3 locations (input, pre-tone-stack, power amp) as the RA. Also, the RA has Reverb, but no Presence knob. Compelling. But dang it, now I simply want an HX/DA 50W!

I have it on my watch list , have to pay off the Porsche repair first, hopefully it will still be there. Luckily the end of billing on my card is only a couple of days . I can swing it next month . I have the Blue Sierra 50 paisley set already .. I found another 2x12 paisley cab this morning as well. no reason to be half ways ...

That wooden one… It may be the one I watched on the Music Go Round site a year or so ago. I was being patient, waiting for a price drop. Well, someone else was, too! Such beautifully crafted amps.

There’s so little real info about the Recording Amp out there. About the best I can gather is that it’s a bit more hot-rodded than the 25th Anniversary, in the modded Plexi type. The built-in reverb is part of the appeal, to me.
