Smaller Birds Silver Sky

I was wondering if anyone had info or knew why silver sky bird inlays are smaller than regular PRS birds.

Maybe because of the more dramatic radius curve?

I was gonna say the birds are made from the bone dust of the birds they represent, and those things are hard to catch!

JM wanted it that way makes more sense as does the radius logic.
