Hi guys, I have just taken delivery of my stone blue SS SE.

The volume and tone knobs aren’t great, do I need brass sleeves for them so that they sit properly?

What would be the best colour or shell type contrasting pickguard? Pictures would be good.

I have seen some amazing ones from Korea on Etsy, including paisley ones.

I quite like the idea of an adonised pick guard.

Also is it possible to upgrade the switches and potentiometers?

Do you know if it is possible to get nickel pickup covers?

Is it possible to change the tuner knobs to rosewood ones?

Finally, I love the guitar already.

Finally, I love the guitar already.

Having played a green one yesterday, I would suggest you play it for a wee while before making any changes, I did the same with an SE I own and had a better idea about the changes I wanted to make.

Some happened by accident. I don’t mean I tripped and all of a sudden there were locking tuners, but mean some were gifts.

I was pleasantly surprised at the tones from the stock guitar, it’s playability, fit and finish.

But heck what do I know, just have fun with it.
