Guys, bear with me, I may not have the correct terminology. I recently bought a SE Custom 24 and the high E string intonation screw in the trem bridge doesn't seem to be engaged to the (?). There is no change to the tone when I turn the screw and the (?) doesn't move. It appears to be pulled forward and is resting against the bridge mounting screw.

I'm going to change my strings soon. Is this something I can fix myself?

You should be able to easily fix this yourself.

Also, if the screw is totally out of the saddle (the bit the string goes through and rests on), you should take the screw all the way out so it doesn't fall out and get lost.

Thanks. And thanks for the terminology (saddle). I can't tell if the screw is out of the saddle. It may be just inside but not engaged. If I encounter any difficulties when restringing it, I'll reach out to this forum. Also, I'm lucky in that there is a very good guitar repair service near me if I really mess things up.
