Removing Tremonti Neck Pickup Cover

So, Im thinking about removing the neck pickup cover on my Tremonti. I like the sound of the pickup, I just think the guitar would look much cooler with the cover off. What do you guys think? Leave it on, or take it off?

Should be pretty simple to remove it, right? Just heat up the solder on the back of the pickup and lift it off.

Good point. No, my Tremonti has the rounded bobbins. If it had squabbins, I'd leave the cover on or look for an uncovered PRS pickup with squabbins to match.
