Quick pickup cover question?

What do you guys think about putting a trembucker cover on a regular humbucker? I already have a few uncovered humbucker sets I’m thinking of installing on my S2 CU24. I think the offset visually will most likely drive me bonkers. Thought maybe using a trembucker on my bridge humbucker might save me buying another new pickup. Any thoughts?

You would need to make sure the screw holes line up with the pole screws. If they don't, I wouldn't put it on. You will also have issues putting a cover on the pickup if it is a PRS pickup with the square bobbins. Not only do those pickups have corners on the bobbins that would cause fitment issues but the bobbins are radiused and the cover is not.

The cover won't fit because the pole spacing is different.

What about the solid covers with no pole spacing

The pickup is the same size it's the pole spacing that's different.
