Just wonderin...Are Soapbars heavy guitars? Like a BC Rich?

not sure what you mean... Heavy in terms of weight? No more than a McCarty, which run between 6-8 pounds on average. Heavy as in sound? Not in a balls to the wall heavy metal kind of way. They are a little more clear sounding than a traditional HB equipped guitar. You can play heavy music on them, sure, but you will get a thinner sound. Also, the P90 hum can get a little loud when played through a highly distorted amp.
