Other things being equal, I would almost always choose Brazilian.
Exceptions being my all koa acoustic and my koa topped DGT.

Exactly, when I search prs koa I see solid bodies, hollow bodies & acoustics all made out of koa bodies, they look fantastic!!! When I search AP brazilian I see mostly maple tops & brazzy fretboards, (meh), but if I search just rosewood I see private stock rosewood body stuff that looks as unique as the koa guitars. Those look great to me also.

It's more about tone than looks for me, and I'm not crazy about the tone of Koa.

I agree that is specialized. It would not serve most people as their only acoustic.

A secondary acoustic is what I'm looking for. Ogre had two Claro Walnut equipped at the same time and want to change it up this time.

Since the consensus seems to be against Koa, I'll go Coco.
