PRS CE 22 - can it handle 12 guage strings tuned 1/2 step down?

I think a CE22 with wide fat neck should be able to handle it?
Any opinions?

Mine came with 11s which were binding in the nut - 10s now on it which are fine. The guitar should handle 12s ok but you may well need to get the nut slots widened.

The guy I bought mine from had it setup for C# with some big strings, handled it with no problems. He didn't file the nut and just didn't use the trem.

I think you should be fine, maybe if you add an extra spring on the tremolo to be safe
