PRS 305 Value

Hi,

I have the chance of getting a NOS PRS 305 from a nearby store.

Being the guitar discontinued is it OK to ask you guys if the price they are asking is fair? They want 1990 EUR, I offered 1750 EUR and they are firm on the 1990 saying they won't sell for less than that. The guitar is a dream to play but as I don't understand the PRS market very well, I don't want to pay an exaggerated price.

Do you think 1990 EUR its a good deal for such a guitar? If its not OK to ask prices here please delete this thread, as its a discontinued model I thought it was OK to ask.

My guess is this goes against the rules because technically it is a new guitar. Kind of a grey area given it is new old stock, which is kind of like used.

Maybe reframe the question as, would you walk away from an out of production NOS 305 that you want if you and the dealer are 240 Euros apart?

I say go for it.

thats not a bad price in the states either , if you liked the way it looked, the way it plays and the way it sounds, and you have the budget ,
