If you decide to change them, I agree with the 58/15LT (with a boost) recommendation. I’m the one person on the planet whom the 57/08 pups HATE. I’ve had two sets and ... well, after trying every possible height adjustment and all the amps in the shop, it’s official that we just don’t get along. They were mud central in my SAS, my Korina, and in my McRosie, but heavenly in my bright @ss Cu24.

So in a Standard, I’d try the following sets:
58/15LT
59/09
And...
If both failed, I’d be emailing the good guys across the pond in Bare Knuckles land.

Sorry I can't point you in the right direction but personally after years of swapping pickups I've learned to leave well enough alone.

85/15 usa work well in that guitar, much clearer and 3Dish; I am going to rotate in HB P90s next though, just for a change / experiment

I have tried USA prs pickups and SD / BK against S2 g&b pickups and everything was better than the stock ones. SD in particular are cheap as chips
