Photobucket Hotlink Trick

There are so many threads out there with awesome pictures that we can no longer see due to the recent Photobucket hotlink issue. Thankfully I came across a little trick that enables you to see those photos again.

So I came across this on another forum.

I installed the Chrome extension and it totally worked! There is an add-on for Firefox as well but I have not tested it.

With the extension, you can see pictures from Photobucket in posts again. A nice workaround for the time being.

I have no idea how long this will last before Photobucket figures out a way to block it, but in the mean time it works pretty well.

Doesn’t work on iPad Chrome. Definitely be putting it on the laptops tomorrow though. Thanks!!!

For what its worth, I use a site called imgflip.com. It is really a meme generator and sharing site, but allows picture hosting and minimal editing (tags, labels, rotation) I copy and paste the bbcodes from my picture details, and poof! Pictures show up in my threads. Its sorta like imgur, but better.
