This is a great example of why I love the tiger stripe maple tops. Fantastic grain horizontally but also a subtile vertical grain as well. Please do not get me wrong, I love the quilts and chevron and of the others but I really like these types of tops.

Thanks for the close-ups on the birds -- I have a particular fondness for "character" in materials -- those are spectacular.

The rest of the guitar is nice, too. So that was part of a group run?

What's that symbol on the headstock? I saw it on a KID LTD on eBay, thought it might've been asian for 'Santana', or something.
