So, apparently, Angela has managed to get us invited to play in Love Park (newly renovated) in Center City Philadelphia, on December 22nd when they do the Christmas Village event! Now, here is the thing. They are giving us an hour long set. I haven't played outdoors, in the cold for any length of time before. And it will be COLD.....it is Pennsylvania in late December.

Some of you touring veterans have to have some tips and pointers to keep the fingers from freezing off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Philadelphia isn’t guaranteed to be especially cold on any given day in December, though it won’t be T shirt weather.
Wear a few thin layers up top so you can peal them off. If it is really cold, wear gloves until it is time to play, and a toque - you can keep that on during the set.

Canucks go to the beach when it’s 20F. :p

No advice here since I barely play indoors, let alone outdoors. Congrats on the gig, though!

There may be some "slight" budgetary constraints when it comes to all of this......lol

Slip it into the rider, about page 3. If they question it, offer to give up your request for bottled water (even-numbered bar codes only). That way you'll seem reasonable.
