New CE color question

I'm jonesing/saving for a new CE. There seem to be occasional non-standard colors out there, but I haven't seen the ones that really float my boat:

• Black Gold Wrap
• Tortoiseshell
• Amethyst

Are these colors reserved for higher cores? (Except amethyst which has been on SEs)

If I wanted one of them do I have to go full-on Private Stock? Or is there a way to get those colors on a normal CE at regular price?

I think you should wait until Paul Smith calls you personally and asks you to choose the colors for the guitars his company makes.

If you boycott long enough, he'll come around, just wait and see.
