Joined today because I have a tentative deal on a CL PRS, and I have some ??s

It's a special run of some kind, semi hollow SE custom 22 w/ a quilted top:

would love to know:

• IS this a special run?
• what years was it produced (seller does not show serial number/back of headstock)
• used price range (USD)?

well, I guess I completely forgot about the "Introduction" part, lol!

Started learning guitar at a late age (48), and have been playing (if you call it that) for about 9 years now -- I have about dozen guitars, mostly Fender and Squiers. I have also become an avid modder and "builder" (more like "assembler") of several bolt-on neck partcasters:

You can look on E-Bay sold listings to estimate what the going rate is for these beauties, but in general, I get interested when they are about half the in store price. However, if this was my first PRS and I needed a guitar, I might get interested at a higher price just to get what I wanted. You can decide when you are going to get interested.

it actually appears to match this "limited edition" (I know, those words don't REALLY mean much) w/ the quilted top that I only see on GC site

The big difference is the GC quilted top, vs. the "standard" flamed top. If you love the looks and/or the sound, jump in. The waters perfect.
