FYI, the pine 2x12 w/ V30s sounds unlike any other V30 cab I’ve owned or played through. Not typical V30. A genuinely unique cab

This is absolutely true. For a good while, I thought that the V30s were just “that” different. (They aren’t stock). But while they are a little different, it’s the cab that’s really different. It sounds great clean. I can see it bonding with mid gain cabs. I’m not in love with it for the Archon, and would rather have the deep one like Les has to use with the Archon. it is a unique cab. And I’m sure it sounds great with lower gain and especially cleans.

I replaced one V30 and like it better with the Archon.

@Thanks RickP! Will do! - I will be playing with it with no pedals for some time. Want to learn about everything and anything . Want to study the nuances of this great Ribe Eye Steak then add in some spices later
