I switched to Curt Mangan strings about a year ago after using GHS Boomers for years. I dig the company and really just like the sound and feel of their 10-46's

Curious to know how many other Mangan string users are around?

I knew of a few folks from the older PRS (Birds & Moons) forum that were endorsees of Curt Mangan strings. Even tried a couple sets myself. At the time, my ears were not sufficiently tuned to hear the differences once the old strings were removed. Some folks say that the .010 gauge strings have the tone of .011's or .012's. As I'd said, perhaps it was the guitar, but my ears at the time couldn't distinguish the difference.

I'm using them at the moment (10s and 10.5s depending on instrument, pure nickels). They're nice, feel good, but ... differences in string brands are subtle to me, at most. But yeah, I like the company too.
