My band search has been continuing. I put an ad on Craigslist this week looking for something new, and got a few responses.

One stood out in particular. Heidi's Arcade, a band focused on 80s new wave and alt. Hmm. Not a style I've played before, but I dig some Duran Duran, thought I'd check them out. Went and jammed with them today, and had an absolute blast. I liked them, they liked me...so it appears, barring anything strange like the last jam group, that I may in fact now be playing in an 80s band.

And yeah, the Vela sounds great playing Duran Duran.
