I recently posted about this. I've had a 1999 HB-II for years and always thought the bridge pickup was pretty clangy and modern on a good day, and kinda harsh on a bad one. I rarely played on it, and used the neck pup.
I recently acquired a 57/08 bridge pickup and put it in, and am very happy with the result - a whole lot smoother and kinder. Now I'm playing on the back pickup a whole lot more. It reinvented the HB-II.
I then went overboard last month and acquired a second HB-II (also a 1999) and will put a long-stashed pair of 53/10s into it. Will report when done. A pair of 53/10s completely transformed my PRS Archtop (the big one).
I guess you could say I do love the PRS hollow-bodied guitars, and the 50-series pickups...
