That seems like a decent price and it looks to be in great condition. You sure don't see many of them. There were small numbers of them built. If an electric 12 string is something you want, I am not sure you could find a better one at a better price. You may be able to talk them down a little too.

Before pulling the string I suggest listening to it on YouTube. I thought about buying one but the sound wasn't what I was looking for so instead chose a Rick 660-12 for the wider neck and the jangle I was looking for. YYMV

The PRS 12-strings are great - much easier to play that many other 12s, IMHO.

But they do not sound like Rickies. But they sound great!

That's a good price, nowadays.

I feel odd saying this but I'd pass. I just don't need an electric, HSH 12 string. Too many other great guitars to spend my $$ on

Blue and HSH are a win but a hard pass. So much more on the list for $3k. Sure, the oddity is cool, but pass.

I'd only go for it if I had way too much extra cash lying around...which I've never had.

Out of 30+ guitar, I have one electric 12. It never gets played these days. Mine is a Yamaha 302-12 that I put Fender TexMex singles in. Plays amazing and sounds amazing too, but...it's an electric 12...

Don't ever want/need a 'nicer' one.

I saw that one for sale awhile back when I was visiting Plattsburgh for work. Maybe they will come down on price because it's been hanging out for so long.
