What is this? A Custom 22 but....

I am about to purchase a Custom 22 but one of the picture of the headstock has this truss rod cover?
The seller just knows it as a Custom 22.
The tag in the case says it's a Custom 22 with Dragons but this truss rod cover baffles me.
Special run perhaps?

Looks like a Signature Club TRC, but I didn't become a member until later so I can't confirm that 08/09 part.

No, probably just means they were a member in 2008/2009. I think the Sig club memberships use to be 2 years.

The Signature Club started late in 2008 (at the Experience, IIRC) and that was the first year TRC. The second and later years just had one year designation, ie 2010, 2011, etc.

Oh so 08/09 is when the magic started.
Rare TR cover - 25 years from now it will be worth something.
