3) Tremonti with pickup swap?
4) Is there such thing as a DC245 Trem?

The other option is finding a used ME I SCT - Braz neck with trem = tonal nirvana!

Santana definitely gets the grunt. 24.5 scale and 24 frets turns some people off. A Paul's Guitar trem would get you there, IMO. I may have a couple of solutions for you. Hit me up, if you're interested.
