A while back I grabbed an S2 from Wildwood, Custom 24 35th Anniversary in Matteo Blue with an ebony board. It has quickly become one of my favorite guitars. Being a long time Les Paul player, I do like the control layout of the 594s so I've been checking a few out.

A Livingston Lemondrop 594 S2 showed up on Wildwood's site

Should be here Thursday....

Waiting SUCKS lol

That’s when I distract myself with popcorn…

I saw that one on Reverb and had it on the long list of candidates for a planned purchase. But it fell off my list for more local to me sellers. I want to test drive before I buy, and Wildwood is a bit of a haul for me.

Nice score BTW

I prefer hands on as well. Have to say haven't found anything close to the one WW sent me, so hoping lightning strikes twice

Great neck. Cool tones. It's not as nice as my Matteo Blue 24 I scored from Wildwood, but they are different guitars. The top is a little uneven, as happens when working with real wood, but the best part of the quilt seriously POPS when it's in playing position and you look down. Will probably change the tuners. I do appreciate that the buttons match the binding and the rings, but after having Hipshot locking tuners on everything I own for the last 15+ years, it's hard to feel comfortable with anything else. Also looking it over, and this is just me, having two tone bridge and tail, than having black screws on the rings, and than clear knobs, just too much going on. Nickel screws going in later, and will probably order some amber knobs. Color was called Livingston Lemondrop. I expected a little more yellow in person, to me it's closer to a McCarty or basic honeyburst, which I love.

LOL, I have this same color never knew what it was called . I just thought it was a great color. Thanks for the info. Although I pay little attention to the crazy names they give I just buy the ones I like.
