As era's go, I prefer 1996 though around 2008. That said, there is one thing about early production guitars that I much prefer... the burst on production guitars.

I just found a '91 in my home town... the vintage PRS bug has definitely bit me, so I may have to check it out and make an offer this weekend

Just found this beaut of a 1989 CE in dark blue hanging out in my LGS. Hands down the best neck I’ve ever played, it’s no wonder the original owner played it until it started to show wear

Yeah! Hans gets all the credit for the zebra squabbins. I got the guitar from him in a trade deal in May.hell yeah! That one looks fantastic. Need to get both together at some point. The zebra squabbins are awesome too!
