As era's go, I prefer 1996 though around 2008. That said, there is one thing about early production guitars that I much prefer over current production... the burst.

As eras go, I prefer current day. I have 91, 00, 05, 06, 12, 16 core models, it just seems when cost is not the driving factor, PRSh makes them better over time.

Just found this beaut of a 1989 CE in dark blue hanging out in my LGS. Hands down the best neck I’ve ever played, it’s no wonder the original owner played it until it started to show wear

I love my ‘91 Standard. It gets all of the playing time. I sort of feel bad for my others because they are just collecting dust.

I just found a '91 in my home town... the vintage PRS bug has definitely bit me, so I may have to check it out and make an offer this weekend

Yeah! Hans gets all the credit for the zebra squabbins. I got the guitar from him in a trade deal in May.
