    I was thinking they were finished in "Dark Blue" and/or "Electric Blue" after seeing this page copy from a PRS manual, listing standard and custom colors for CE Bolt-On and CE Maple Top models, from 1989.

    Check out my avatar pic as I have an 89 custom 24 with birds with a natural back and neck. Its all original and I paid less for it than some S2 models!!!' It was a great find and I'm currently chasing an 86 whale blue cu24....
