Wow! Congrats to you! I've rarely met a Goldtop I didn't like, and that goes for yours. On my 'someday, someway' list is three or four guitars, and a Goldtop SC245 is there with my beloved DGTs.

That's a sexy gold top, for sure.

I think the Phase III tuners have the same screw holes as the vintage, but not sure about the Phase IIs. I'm sure someone here can confirm interchangeability.

Nice GT you grabbed, OP. You'll love it.

The Phase IIs are not drop-in replacements for the vintage tuners. I replaced them on my SC245GT with PIIs, but didn't mind the extra holes on the back.
