Tonal difference between Custom 22, Paul’s Guitar, 509, McCarty and DGT

Hi, I have Paul’s Guitar which I really love, but in my city I can’t try other models side by side. Since I am planing to custom build a PRS guitar, so I wanna know how those models compare to Paul’s Guitar. I assume the main difference comes from the pickups, right?

The PRS website contains a great collection of video demos of all these guitars, which would probably help you more than written descriptions.
