This is my latest room madness. I decided to use my bookshelves to help with diffusion on the rear wall. Combined with the bass traps it works well from the mix position, and it’s easy to hear the difference; there’s more clarity in the mids (voice and guitar). I probably should have moved the case for my 594 Soapy out of the pic for the beauty shot. Or...not!

Front of room’s the same pretty much though. The acoustics work well. Kudos to RealTraps. Their stuff works really well.

Y'all have some killer music spaces!

Back in 2016 or so, I remodeled our attic space into a music room, later adding a standing desk designed to keep clutter off the work surface. Of course, I discovered that ANY horizontal surface in my space collects... stuff. So, I'm in the process of re-creating my ideal music dojo.

As mentioned, this is currently in flux while I am downsizing, and removing clutter/distractions from my music space/life. My goal is to have just enough, which for me has been a long journey-- though I'm nearly there!
