17 sound configurations, and I still end up on the neck HB most of the time …I may be able to give you a more informed answer in a few days.
However, my preliminary observations is that the MEV sounds hotter and cuts through more. The Studio is extremely balanced and well calibrated in this regard. The MEV is possibly voiced differently than the Paul’s Guitar. Plus it will sound different since the bridge is different as well.
The MEV has so many configurations that you forget what each one sounds like once you play with the combinations.
The main 5 are all good. Although I would have thought that will all of them activated, there would be more of an impact!17 sound configurations, and I still end up on the neck HB most of the time
Use this site: https://postimages.org/Sorry for the necro-bump but I have the same combination except my Studio Purple Iris (but not 10 top nor wood library) and my MEV is Fire Red.
A great pair! Oo-er missusLife's not a Carry On film...
