What should my first NGD of 2024 be folks?

After having quite a clear out late last year it seems I have room/funds for another PRS.
Torn between two models right now.
A 2008 PRS 1980 West Street Limited or a 2004 PRS Private Stock Hollowbody II in Purple Mist Smoked Burst with quilt maple top and back.
And dont say both...lol

Based on the guitars listed in your signature, and my own current GAS, the Hollowbody would be a great fit.

It seems the majority do seem to favour the Westie which is not truly a surprise but...I am particularly taken by the HBII I have in my sights...
A touch decision than cant be made on only one cup of coffee.

I have both .. Follow your heart .. I love my Westie , but the HB II is one of the most magnificent examples of Lutherie that I'd lean there .

Those are two very different guitars. I have two HBII guitars. I love them. I played the SC HBII exclusively in the last band I was in. I loved having the Piezo tones as well as my typical tones in the same guitar. For that reason I would probably go with the HB. I am also not as fond of 24 fret guitars as I am 22.

Either should be great, but I would lean toward HB on this one. I say this without owning either model currently
