Strap locks for Semi Hollow?

I have the semi hollow body II,
I would like to go to Schaler type but I wanted to ask if anyone has any positive or negative experience with strap locks on the hollowbody and Guitar? I figure it’s a little more delicate than a solid body electric! I know the screws are often longer and larger for strap locks.

I have an SE hollowbody. The only issue I had was that a little bit of the finish around the screw hole chipped off, but that may have been my fault. I did have to put a couple chunks of toothpick into the screw hole, but that was it.

I put Schaller S-Locks on my 594 HB II no problem.
As @alantig says, you may need a toothpick add-on but no issues.

I use the Ernie Ball strap locks on all my guitars including my core hollowbody II. No issues at all with them falling apart or coming loose.

I have Schaller Strap Locks on all of my guitars, including my PS HB!!. No issues at all. I re-used the PRS screw...

But.... I do put one of those felt washers underneath to protect the finish...

I also install Schaller S-lock.
With the new screws, the one built into the knob, I use a little nut sauce or candle wax to make it easier to screw in.

The hollow body weakness is not where the strap buttons are, so no problem.

I have D'Addario strap locks on my Paul's Guitar. I like the easy install and low profile. No tools necessary for the strap.
