I pulled one of my guitars out to practice with the other day and noticed one of the strap buttons had worked loose. That could of been bad.......keep an eye on those dang things.

Your Christmas wish shouldn't be asking for a guitar repair.
 
Remove the button, insert a toothpick into the hole, break it off, and reinsert your strap button. It's an old guitar tech trick that works flawlessly
 
That made me loller. I've already heard a guitar made out of popsicle sticks and another out of corrugated cardboard, now I want to hear one made out of toothpicks and Elmer's.
 
Indeed, toothpicks and wood glue in most all of my strap button screw holes as well. Nothing wrong with doing this and in most cases, won't hurt the value (perceived or real) of the guitar. Nature of the beast I guess.
